The perfection huller machine is
mounted on Eight basket beater separator and is of robust
construction, simple adjustment and having operation
safety. The single adjustment by turning the eccentric
shaft located on concave maintains distance between
the fixed knives in concave and rotating knives in the
drum and this arrangement regulates the percentage of
seed cutting by the huller.
The Safety studs, which held Concave is designed to
break if any non –ferrous foreign material enters
the Hullers. The steel safety studs should never be
used and this can damage the Huller and fatal injury
to operating People. Before closing the Concave after
replacing safety stud or changing knives sealing strip,
where it seats against the frame girt be cleared.

Sharp and properly
hardened knives are must for good hulling results.
Each knife has four cutting edges and can be turned
and reversed before discarding. Frequency of changing
knives in Drum and Concave depends very much on
moisture contain in seeds and also impurities (Girt)
in seeds, but if laboratory results shows high oil
contains in hulls this should be first place to
check.

The
eight basket beater / separator is designed to produce
hulls with a minimum oil content by efficiently
beating the hulls to remove the fine floury and
small particles of meats and oily lint. The machine
consists of an eight chamber beater section mounted
above a shaker separator tray. |
| |
|
|
| |
|
The
beater section consists of eight spiked rotating
cylinders, each, mounted above a stationary perforated
metal drawer. The beater lags are securely fastened
to the cylinders and are designed to rotate at a
progressively faster speed from inlet to discharge,
thereby, pulling apart lumps and thoroughly fluffing
the hulls as they travel through. The clean hulls
are discharged out the end through a specially designed
split chute which passes the hulls around the shaker
tray to the hull conveyor below. |
| |
|
|
| |
|
The fine meats, with some fine
hulls, sift through the perforated metal of the
upper screen drawers onto the shaker tray below.
the perforated metal of the shaker tray sifts out
the fine meats and fine hulls while retaining the
coarser product on top of the screen. The coarse
hull and meats on top of the screen are then separated
by an air aspiration nozzle allowing the coarse
meats to travel on to the finished meats conveyor
while the hulls are transported by air to the tailing
beater, where further cleaning is provided. |

The
eight basket beater / separator is built of all
– steel welded construction into a strong,
rigid unit. The inside screens of the beater are
easily inspected and cleaned by simply removing
two bolts and pulling each complete drawer out one
side. The beater cylinders are easily inspected
or replaced by simply removing the top sheet metal
cover. The shaker separator tray is constructed
for lightness and balance, assuring the user of
a smooth operation with minimum vibration. |

|
| |
|
The eight basket beater / separator
is driven from a motor gear reducer positioned at
the rear or inlet end of the beater and rotation
is accomplished through a roller chain drive. |
| |
|
|
| |
|
The shaker separator is driven
from the electric motor to the main drive shaft.
Two eccentrics mounted on this shaft along with
counter balanced pulleys move the tray in a smooth,
forward – backward motion. |
